The following functionality is available as of 3/2/26 in the IDgo Production environment:

Application: IDgo web application
- IDgo customers have the option to turn on "Silent Network Authentication" (SNA) feature for their consumers as follows:
- SNA verifies a user's identity in the background by directly querying mobile network operators to confirm ownership of a phone number, SIM, and device.
- SNA operates without user input (no codes, SMS, or apps), making it immune to SMS phishing.
- Consumers must be on a mobile network; this feature will not be attempted if the consumer is on a Wi-Fi network.
- SNA is experienced by consumers when a consumer's mobile phone does not, for any reason, have an existing IDgo passkey or authentication token. As an alternative to using a one-time passcode delivered to the consumer via SMS, SNA "silently" connects with the mobile network operator to confirm ownership of the phone number, SIM and device.
