What is IDgo and how does IDgo work?
An overview of what IDgo is and how IDgo works.
IDgo is designed to elevate trust for enterprises who are required to confirm the identity of consumers before authorizing completion of a service.
Since consumers engage with enterprises through different engagement channels, e.g., via phone and video calls or chat sessions with contact centers, in person, online, IDgo has been designed to elevate trust in all consumer engagement channels.
IDgo delivers value for IDgo customers in three ways: 1. protection from and reduction of impersonation fraud attacks, 2. more efficient operations and 3. better consumer and enterprise staff experiences.
IDgo leverages mobile phones and encryption technology and applies telephony and internet technologies to enable enterprises to securely and simply confirm the identity of a consumer requesting a service.
There is a one-time enrollment step to complete that accomplishes the process of associating an encrypted credential with a consumer's unique device and phone number. Therafter, the consumer's identity can be verified using the consumer's device and associated encrypted credential.
The IDgo service is continously being enhanced to add capabilities that enable elevation of trust for additional use cases and in new, innovative ways.
